Spring 2017 amateur radio (aka ham radio) classes begin Thursday, February 9 at 6:30PM at the Geauga County Emergency Operations Center in Chardon, Ohio. The EOC is located at 12518 Merritt Rd off SR 44. Class goes weekly on Thursdays from 6:30PM to 9PM until March 9th. See class schedule for dates.

The class is open to all who are interested in learning about amateur radio and obtaining their amateur radio Technician License.

There is no cost to the class. Books are provided. However all students are welcome to purchase their own study manual. We are using the Gordon West/W5YI Technician Class Study Manual GWTM-14. This book is available at Universal Radio in Reynoldsburg, Ohio for $19.99 plus tax and shipping.
